Joy to the World

The Choir's Christmas CD came out in November 2004 with twenty-two delightful carols. Called 'Joy to the World', it includes 'In the Bleak Mid-Winter' (Darke) 'O Holy Night', 'The Little Road to Bethlehem', 'Stille Nacht' and many more. Featured soloists are Stephen Foulkes, a member of Wells Cathedral Choir, former Silver Ring Member Clare Devine, as well as Clare Marson, a regular soloist at our concerts and member of the Soprano Section. A number of other Choir members are also featured. The CD was recorded at Shepton Mallet Parish Church in Spring 2004 by Priory Records.

Claire Marson

Claire Marson is a popular soloist with the Choir and has delighted audiences around the UK and Europe. Claire features as soprano soloist in five carols on 'Joy to the World'.

The link with Wells Cathedral is continued through organist David Bednall, who accompanies the Choir on this CD. David is one of the leading young musicians in Somerset.

Music for Everyone

This CD features 21 delightful pieces from the Choir's repertoire, everything from spirituals and folk songs through to popular pieces, hymns and choral classics.

A Heritage of Music

A small number of 'A Heritage of Music' is still available at a cost of £8, including packing and postage.

This CD was recorded six years' ago and features some delightful items, including the theme from 'The Vicar of Dibley', which still is one of the popular programmes on BBC Television in the UK.The soloist is Clare Devine who returned to Bath to feature on the Choir's new Christmas CD 'Joy to the World'.
